Who we are
Turkish Master Class is the website of Dr. Furkan Kurt, which publishes free Turkish lessons, articles and live practice events. Contact: the contact form at turkishmasterclass.com/contact.
The question form
When you ask a question we receive: your question, the language of the answer, your level if you choose it, the lesson or article you came from, and, only if you enter them, your name and email address. We also record whether you allowed us to publish your question.
We use this to answer you and to decide which questions to answer on the site. A question is published only if you ticked the consent box, and always without your name or email address. Your name and email are never published. The form is processed by Netlify Forms, our hosting provider. We keep form messages only as long as we need them to answer, and delete them within 12 months.
The contact form
When you write through the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply. The form is processed by Netlify Forms. Messages are deleted within 12 months.
YouTube videos
Videos on this site do not load from YouTube until you press play. Before that, your browser does not contact YouTube. When you press play, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube's privacy policy applies.
Free events
To join a free event you register through the link on the event, which leads to the platform we use for it (for example Zoom, Google Meet or Telegram). That platform's own privacy policy applies to your registration.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps technical server logs (for example IP addresses) for a short time for security and operation.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to its use, by contacting us: the contact form at turkishmasterclass.com/contact. We reply within one month.
